The star kids and their parents are currently into the news for their statements on the debut films of the latter. After Sridevi and Saif Ali Khan spoke about their concern over Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan’s career in Bollywood, there have been whispers started in the tinsel town. In a recent interview, Sridevi said that she agrees with Saif’s point of view. However, Saif’s ex-wife and Sara’s mom Amrita Singh is super pissed off at the statement by Saif Ali Khan. She apparently slammed her ex beau for his comments on Sara’s career saying that she did not appreciate it at all!
According to the reports in DNA, a source disclosed what actually happened. The source says, ” She told him it was an irresponsible thing to say considering Sara is about to embark on a film career.” Well, Amrita is very keen on makimg her daughter a big star and Saif’s statement is making it look like a wromng decision. May be this has not gone down well with Sara’s mother.
The source further added, “Saif didn’t want to be dragged into an argument, so he mumbled that he was ‘quoted out of context’ and calmed down his former wife.” Well the thing did not end here! As soon as the phone call ended, Saif attended a press conference and as expected, he was asked about his daughter’s much talked about debut.
Here he clarified the whole statement saying, ” I love my daughter, support her and I think her choice is great. Of course, she is an actress, she belongs to a family of artistes, which is great, but I am still a little concerned for her as it is an unsure profession. Because I love her, I worry for her. That’s all I am saying. Is that clear? People write things like, ‘He doesn’t know what he is saying. He doesn’t know his mind.’ I find that annoying.” (ALSO READ: Sara Ali Khan or Jhanvi Kapoor: Find out who is doing The Fault In Our Stars remake!)
Well, we hope that both the parents of Sara Ali Khan get at peace over her career debut as she is soon going to embark on her Bollywood journey. Sara will be seen opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Kedarnath’ helmed by Abhishek Kapoor.
